September Tour of Copper Canyon

Basasiachic Falls in Copper Canyon

The mighty Basasiachic falls roars in August- from summitpost.org

We go often to Copper Canyon–something like 25-30 trips per year. We go in about any season as every time of year has something cool to offer on the Copper Canyon train. But in many people’s view the fall is the prime season.

We are offering several trips this fall and the first is September 21-29. While this trip has options for running, non-runners will do fine on this one and will travel the whole train route.

One nice thing about the fall is that it is at the end of the rainy season and so the place is green, the dust is settled, and the waterfalls are flowing. It is also about perfect weather- cool nights and warm days. Aside from Nov 1 and 2 and the Dia de Los Muertos celbartion the crowds are low.
